Tree surveys and reports for mortgage and insurance

Mortgage & Insurance Tree Reports

This type of tree report, sometimes called a ‘homebuyers’ or ‘pre-purchasetree report, can be requested by mortgage or insurance providers to ensure that potential harm to the property from nearby trees is identified and managed appropriately.

Typically, the tree survey will record all trees within a specified distance from the property and assess the risk of direct harm from falling trees or branches and indirect damage from vegetation-induced subsidence.

We understand that this type of report can hold up the purchase of a property and is often required within a certain timeframe by insurers. We provide a quick response to all mortgage and insurance report enquiries and a fast turnaround on reports following a site visit and survey of trees and other vegetation.

We ensure that any tree management recommendations are proportionate to the assessed risk and do not place an unnecessary burden on the tree owner.
